Pre-COP28 Bootcamp
In preparation for all Education City students traveling to COP28—and open to all students interested in learning more about the largest and most important annual climate conference of the year—Georgetown University in Qatar in partnership with Qatar Foundation is hosting a pre-COP28, educational bootcamp. Students will gain a greater understanding of the science, history, and policy aims, as well as the animating controversies that will be debated at what promises to be the largest gathering of heads of state ever to assemble in the Middle East.
Georgetown University in Qatar seeks to partner with Qatar Foundation in order to create a multiversity event involving students and faculty from across Education City participating as observers at COP28. The goal is to provide a substantive, experiential education to students while directly benefiting and supporting the Qatar Government’s COP28 efforts.
